Benzalkonium Chloride

Is an organic salt classified as quaternary ammonium compound and type
cationic surfactant. In terms of usage this is categorised as biocide, cationic
surfactant and phase transfer agent. Benzalkonium has numerous usage
like algaecides, preservative for pharmaceutical products, deodorant &
cosmetics, Floor cleaners, Dettol, mouth wash, hand sanitizer etc.
